FAQ

How is the flex?

It's quite stiff in general, but has a slight flex in the nose. The torsional flex is super nice I think and more important for feel. It's not a snowboard. ...and has more flex than a surfboard ;)

Is it paper or a new material?
After the layers of paper (that is sprayed with bio-binder) is pressed with 400 ton preassure. It's not paper anymore. It's a new high tech component material. All the way through.
/
Paper? Can handle water?
Se above. Like plastics and aluminium, it can handle water.
/
Fins?
The fins make this board behave quite unique. It's a fun, playful riding style. + it helps in crappier snow and makes riding a t-bar easy.
/
Do you get a pad when buying a board?
YES!
/
How do you wax?
I would use a non flour gel wax. That needs about 10 min to harden in room temp.
But that said, I do not wax this board often at all. It has a great glide as is.
/
Can you repair the material?
Yes, tape both sides of the damage. Use a 2 component glue. Not more than necessary. Cure, sand it off. Take tape off. Put a little drop of linseed oil, rub.
/
How hard is the material?
It's harder than any base. It's harder than a 2 component laquer. For the nerds: Barcol scale with a value 65. This corresponds to 85 on the Shore D hardness scale.
